Using the latest up to date digital camera, our drain 365 engineers can pinpoint problems accurately during a CCTV drain survey. We can supply the customer with a report and a recording of their survey whether the drain survey is done because of a reoccurring blockage or to give peace of mind as in the homebuyers pack. Most average houses can be surveyed within the two hour price bracket.

The drain survey images are in colour and because we use a self righting camera to carry out the survey, the drain images are shown the right way up on the screen clearly showing the meterage, any blockages, fat & scale build up, root intrusion, misplaced joints or collapsed drains.

All CCTV drain surveys are recorded onto DVD and additional DVD's are also available to meet insurance loss adjuster or surveyors requirements.

Over time and usage, drains and sewers candeteriorate.  It may take  several years, but drains can suffer as a result of many factors such as ground movement poor construction, and tree root intrusion.

In such cases television provides the full picture. CCTV surveys of drains, pipes, and sewers provide an accurate and cost effective way to detect problems to the source and help establish the most practical remedial options.

DRAIN TRACING

Drain tracing is carried via a sonde or sonar which emits a signal that can be accurately traced above ground to locate problems such as buried manholes, root intrusions, bad joints, etc and approximate depths are also given.

WATER TESTING

This test involves plugging the drain line at the lower end and filling the drain pipe with water to assess whether the pipe work and joints are water tight.
